These institutions have a number of undergraduate, degree programs and doctoral degrees. The curriculum at the higher educational institution has been patterned on a modular system. The undergraduate and graduate programs are multidisciplinary in nature. These programs have been designed according to each student's ability, interest and ambition. Thought the medium of studies is in English, IELTS is not mandatory for international students' admission in many of these institutions.
      International students enrolled in public universities and polytechnics as well as foreign institutes of higher learning are allowed to work 16 hours per week part-time during school term and full-time during vacations with prior permission from the Student Liaison/Affairs Office of their respective institute. The International students enrolled in the Private Education Organizations are not allowed to work part time during their course. On the other hand, the student during course of study may search for a full time job and in case, he succeeds in getting a job, his student's pass status changes into employment status. Moreover, he may complete his course as distance study.

Cost Of Study & Living

The courses offered in Singapore range from Foundation courses to Degree and Masters Programs whose duration ranges from 1 to 3 years. The Tuition fees for the same ranges from 9000SGD to 24000 SGD per year or Rs. 3,78,000 to Rs. 10,08,000. Scholarships of 1000 to 6500 SGD can be availed by meritorious candidates. On an average excluding scholarships (approx)

Tuition Fee: 
I year program - Tuition Fee will be 9000SGD to 24000SGD or Rs.3,78,000 to Rs. 10,08,000
II year program - Tuition Fee will be 18000SGD to 48000SGD or Rs.7,56,000 to Rs.20,16,000
III year program - Tuition Fee will be 27000SGD to 72000SGD or Rs.11,34,000 to Rs.30,24,000

Total Living Expense: 
The total living expense for an International student will be approximately around SGD700 to SGD2000 per month which includes rent, food, transportation, personal expenses and other miscellaneous expenses. This figure is subject to change depending upon the lifestyle of the student, location and the type of accommodation He / She chooses which may vary from the College or University accommodation to renting a flat on one's own.
